Understanding the various data provided on your Race Calendar Wizard listing report.

Updated over 8 months ago

On your listing report, alongside the names of the race calendars where you race is listed, you can find some key metrics on the reach profile of each of the race calendars we list your race on.

Reach

Reach specifies the geographic coverage of a race calendar:

  • National: the race calendar lists races nationwide in the country where your race is based

  • International: the race calendar lists races across several countries, including the country where your race is based

  • Regional: the race calendar lists races in a specific region in the country where your race is based, e.g. in one or more states, counties or cities.

Race calendars with different geographic reach provide different benefits to your race listing. For example, national race calendars target participants in your area and other areas across the country, whereas international calendars provide exposure to participants visiting from abroad. Lastly, regional calendars can be very effective in targeting avid local club racers.

Monthly traffic

The monthly traffic column provides an estimate for the traffic a given race calendar or listing site receives every month.

SEO benefit

The SEO benefit column provides an estimate for the authority and backlinking value of a race calendar or listing site.

Listing on race calendars with strong SEO benefit will lend more authority to your linked event page through the transfer of link equity (also known as "link juice"). The primary benefit of receiving high-value backlinks from sites with high SEO benefit is the improvement of your event page's ranking on Google search pages.
