How is the base budget put together?

A look at the base race budget you get when first accessing Budget Builder.

When you access Budget Builder for one of your races for the first time, a base budget is prepared for you as a convenient starting point from which to further customize and add to your race budget.

On the Revenues table of your base budget, you'll find items for entry fees that track your events' participant numbers, as well as items for sponsorship fees and donations, as these are also common revenue items for most races.

On the Costs table, the base budget includes items commonly required when organizing a race, such as items for race timing, participant supplies (shirts, medals etc), insurance, first aid and so on.
