A category for an item I want to add to my budget doesn’t exist. What do I do?

Adding custom items to your budget.

For your convenience, Budget Builder has been pre-populated with a number of common revenue/cost budget item categories you are likely to need when constructing your budget. These categories include items for Medals, Bibs, Liability insurance, Timer hire, Photographer hire and more.

You can also add your own custom item categories to the budget. To add a new custom cost budget item:

  • Click on the + button next to the Costs table header.

  • Click on Add other cost item.

  • Pick a Cost group to add your item under.

  • Set Item type to Other.

  • Provide an Item name for your item.

To add a new custom revenue budget item:

  • Click on the + button next to the Revenues table header.

  • Click on Add other revenue item.

  • Pick a Revenue group to add your item under.

  • Set Item type to Other.

  • Provide an Item name for your item.
